Slento Systems ("we," "us," "our") operates the slentosystems.com website and the Mesh Optimizer software platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

We believe in minimal data collection. We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve our products, and we never sell your data to third parties.

Information We Collect

Website

  • Contact form submissions: Name, email address, company name, and message content. Collected only when you submit the contact form.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Standard web server logs retained for 30 days for security purposes.
  • Cookies: Session cookies for form CSRF protection and rate limiting. No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics.

Mesh Optimizer Software

  • License validation: License key and node count are transmitted to our license server to verify active subscriptions. No hardware telemetry is sent during validation.
  • Optional telemetry (opt-in only): If you enable telemetry, we collect aggregate performance data including node count, hardware type summary (e.g., "3x AMD RDNA3, 2x NVIDIA Ampere"), and uptime statistics.
  • No personally identifiable information (PII): Telemetry never includes hostnames, IP addresses, user names, workload data, or any information that could identify individuals.
  • No raw performance data: Your behavior atlas, profiling results, and optimization configurations remain entirely on your infrastructure.

How We Use Information

  • Contact submissions: To respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to provide sales or support information you requested.
  • License validation: To verify active subscriptions and enforce node count limits per your license tier.
  • Telemetry (when enabled): To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve product quality. For example, knowing that most deployments use mixed AMD/NVIDIA fleets helps us prioritize cross-vendor optimization features.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or tracking services on our website.
  • We do not collect or transmit your hardware performance data, workload characteristics, or optimization results.
  • We do not use your data for training machine learning models. The JEPA models in Mesh Optimizer are trained locally on your own hardware data.

Data Retention

  • Contact submissions: Retained for 12 months, then deleted.
  • Server logs: Retained for 30 days, then deleted.
  • License validation records: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days.
  • Telemetry data: Purged after 90 days. No permanent storage of telemetry.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect information in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (encrypted storage). Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Your Rights

You may request:

  • A copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion of your personal data.
  • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • Disabling of optional telemetry (can also be done in the Mesh Optimizer configuration).

Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted on standard web hosting infrastructure. We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social media tracking services. The only external service interaction is license validation between your Mesh Optimizer deployment and our license server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For material changes, we will notify active customers via email.
